Clematis Veronica’s Choice is a showy double bloomer at its best. In late spring on the previous season’s wood robust multiple layer flowers of light pink and violet will appear. The first flowers can be a lovely mass of puffy light pink petals from the stamens out. The large petals at the base of the flower will be pinkish purple and ruffled like lace. The second flowers that appear in the summer are single with large ruffled petals.
